Cross-Generational Management: Engaging the Millennial Workforce

Aug 17, 2021

356 - 358

Arizona Commerce Authority, 100 N. 7th Avenue, Phoenix AZ - First Floor Conference Center

Being a manager is never easy; understanding the dynamics and motivations of different generations makes it that much harder!  By 2025, the U.S. will have 4-5 generations in the workforce, all expecting the work environment and engagement they signed up for.

In this session, we’ll learn about the differences between generations, and how those differences impact employee engagement, productivity, and retention.

Join us as we explore the ways to integrate your company’s senior employees with the younger generation to enhance overall performance.

Time:  8:30 am - 10:00 am (registration from 8:00 - 8:30)

Cost:   $49.00 (includes coffee, fruit and pastries)

The Down and The Dirty: Human Resources Basics

August 25, 2021

Arizona Commerce Authority 100 N. 7th Ave., Suite 400 Phoenix, AZ 85007 1st Floor Conference Center

What does the term “Human Resources” even mean? If you ask a room full of people, more than half think they know exactly what HR means – and the other half has horror stories about their personal experience with HR.

HR doesn’t have to be a challenge, and this workshop will help the employer AND the employee understand what HR is, what it’s role is, and how it is a benefit and not a “dirty” word.

Time: 8:30AM-10:00AM (Registration from 8:00 - 8:30)

Cost:  $49.00 (Coffee, pastries & fruit provided)
